Project I: Carpet weaving training at the Fridtjof Nansen orphanage  in Gyumri

We undertake the continuation of this project which had been supported by Mr Günter Peter for many years. It aims at training young people in the traditional Armenian craft of carpet weaving. The training lasts for three years.  What is more, it takes place in a warm family atmosphere which helps the youth to gain self-confidence.

The training is led by Ms. Olga Fidanyan.
