Projects which will bring  a  smile on people’s face!

Our main aim is to help people in Armenia to gain self-confidence, strengthen their courage and give them hope for their future.

The second focus is on aid to the necessary medical care for children whose families cannot afford treatment.

This project aims at training young people in the traditional Armenian craft of carpet weaving in a warm atmosphere of encouragement. The training lasts for three years.

In the framework of this project, women will undergo a screening  and clinical examination for early detection of cancer. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the Medical Center of Vanadzor city which will provide us with premises free of charge.

In Armenia there is no public health insurance system. Treatment costs are covered only for children up to 7 years and only to a certain extent. In cooperation with the Armenian NGO "Armenian Charitable Austrian Center" we will provide the most vulnerable families with an adequate financial support.

This year, two young people receive the training as hair stylist which is being financed by us until the end of 2017.

The participants will first be taught in a number of theoretic subjects. A lawyer will teach the specific employment rights and duties for nannies; a doctor trains them in First Aid and in recognizing typical children sicknesses. The biggest part of the schedule contains psychological  topics like different methods and concepts of child education and pedagogics, fairy tales, games and early childhood promotion.

On Dec. 4th, 2017, a group of 10 women has started with the training

This project aims at supporting those young people who have left or have been dropped out from school because of different, mostly social,  reasons.  They  will be trained in a shoemaking craft which enables them to make their own living.
